For its maiden launch, the Ceres-1 launch vehicle launched the Tianqi-11 satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, northwest China, on November 7, 2020. Ceres-1 is a small solid propellant launch vehicle developed by Galactic Energy, a private aerospace company headquartered in Beijing) to carry a payload of up to 350 kg to low Earth orbit (LEO).
